Bahrain NOC President appoints new anti-doping board for four-year term

Manama, Bahrain, January 2, 2022: The President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, has appointed the board of directors of the Bahrain National Anti-Doping Organisation (BNADO).

Sheikh Khalid, who is also First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports and Chairman of the General Sports Authority, announced the BNADO board under Edict (22) of 2021.

Chaired by Dr. Khalid Abdulaziz Mohammed Al Sheikh, the newly-appointed board of directors will serve a four-year term. The members are:

*Lieutenant Colonel Mazen Abdel Qader Jassem Buhamoud (Vice Chairman)

*Mohammed Jamal Sultan (Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments)

*Hesham Youssef Eid Rashid Boukhammas (General Sports Authority) 

*Mohammed Fadhl Jassim Fadhal Al Humaidi (Ministry of Education) 

*Dr. Najat Mohammed Abul Fateh Ali Abul Fateh (Ministry of Health) 

*Roya Mohammed Abdulla Mustapha Al Abbassi (National Health Regulatory Authority)

*Mariam Essa Ahmed Abdulla Abdulrahman Boukamal (Ministry of Information Affairs) 

*Lieutenant-Colonel Mohammed Abdulla Ghayyath Shukrallah (Ministry of Interior).
