Bhutan NOC Athletes’ Commission holds Sports Physiotherapy Training Session

Thimphu, Bhutan, December 21, 2021: The Athletes’ Commission of Bhutan has successfully conducted a three-day Sports Physiotherapy Training Session in Punakha.

The physiotherapy course which ended on Sunday, December 20, was attended by more than 30 participants from 14 National Sports Federations and Sports Associations and was held in collaboration with the Bhutan Olympic Committee under the auspices of Olympic Solidarity.

“The Athletes Commission of Bhutan would like to thank Olympic Solidarity and the Bhutan Olympic Committee for providing us the support to conduct this programme,” the ACB posted.

Four physiotherapists were involved in the training course. They are Mr. Tshering Norbu, Mr. Karma Phuentsho, Mr. Sangay Dorji and Mr. Tshering Penjor.

The Bhutan Olympic Committee also expressed its gratitude to the physiotherapists for taking the time to help conduct the course and impart their knowledge and skills on sports physiotherapy to the participants.

All participants received a certificate at the end of the training course.
