Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, December 21, 2021: The Hangzhou Asian Games Organising Committee (HAGOC) in collaboration with the Education Association Between Malaysia and China (EAMC) coordinated the official launch of the 19th Asian Games Hangzhou 2022 - Asian Games Football Dream School in Malaysia on Monday, December 20, 2021.
The ceremony was attended by the following dignitaries:
*Dato’ Mohd Nazifuddin, Secretary General, Olympic Council of Malaysia
*Dato’ Chong Kim Fatt, Vice President, OCM and Malaysia’s Chef de Mission for Hangzhou 2022
*Jiang Zhongqi, President, EAMC
*Datuk Nicole Wong Siaw Ting, National Youth Chairperson of Malaysia Chinese Association (MCA)
*Datuk Wira (Dr.) Lee Chong Wei, legendary badminton player
*Dato’ Lim Kah Chuan, President, Federation of Chinese Associations of Johor
*Mr. Ian Neo Chee Hua, Secretary General, Association of Belt and Road Malaysia
*Jason Lee, representative of YTO International, one of China's largest courier companies and the Official Logistics Services Sponsor of the 19th Asian Games Hangzhou 2022.
EAMC President Jiang Zhongqi said EAMC was honoured to be selected by HAGOC to coordinate the Asian Games Football Dream School - a public welfare project of HAGOC. The project aims to realise the football dreams of selected schools by providing equipment, training and related programmes and activities.
On behalf of the OCM, Dato’ Chong Kim Fatt thanked HAGOC and the EAMC for inviting the OCM to launch the project in Malaysia.
“We hope the Asian Games Football Dream School project will achieve its objectives and, at the same time, strengthen the friendship and diplomatic relationship between Malaysia and China. We wish the 19th Asian Games Hangzhou 2022 every success,” added Dato’ Chong Kim Fatt.
Dato’ Mohd Nazifuddin and Dato’ Chong Kim Fatt had the honour of jointly launching the 19th Asian Games Hangzhou 2022 - Asian Games Football Dream School project, witnessed by all the invited guests and sponsors.
