Phnom Penh, December 10, 2021: The National Olympic Committee of Cambodia has a lot to look forward to in the coming years.

Not only will Cambodia be hosting the 32nd Southeast Asian (SEA) Games in 2023 along with the 12th ASEAN Para Games, the Kingdom of Wonder will also be organising an Olympic Council of Asia multi-sport games for the first time in 2029 – the fifth Asian Youth Games.

To instill the spirit of Olympism in the country, the NOC held the Olympic Values and Education Programme (OVEP) in Kep Province this week. It took place over two days at two different high schools and involved classroom and playing field activities for 100 students.

The OVEP also covered the Olympic Games and promoted a healthy lifestyle by playing sport, avoiding drugs, keeping Cambodia clean and paying attention to road safety. Another subject was hospitality, especially with the three multi-sport games coming up.

Cambodia NOC will continue the OVEP in other areas, including the capital Phnom Penh, Kampong Speu Province and Kampong Thom Province.
