Doha, Qatar, December 9, 2021: The Qatar Olympic Committee has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Ministry of Education and Higher Education to collaborate on physical education and sports programmes.
The President of the QOC, HE Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani, welcomed the Minister of Education and Higher Education, Mrs. Bethena bint Ali Al-Jabr Al-Naeimi, for the signing ceremony at the QOC headquarters in Doha.
The MOU was signed by the QOC Secretary General, HE Jassim Rashid Al-Buenain, and the Deputy Minister of Education and Higher Education, Dr. Ibrahim Bin Saleh Al-Naeimi.
The agreement calls for the QOC and the government ministry to work closely and foster bilateral cooperation for the betterment of sports and physical education among students in the country.
