New Sporting Asia highlights 40th OCA General Assembly Dubai 2021

Kuwait City, Kuwait, December 02, 2021: The latest edition of the Olympic Council of Asia’s official newsletter, Sporting Asia, is now available to download from the OCA website www.ocasia.org.

Sporting Asia Edition 55 – December 2021 – focuses on the 40th OCA General Assembly that took place in Dubai on November 21. There is a Photo Gallery and news reports from Dubai 2021.

The front cover features Raja Randhir Singh, who was appointed OCA Acting President on September 10, 2021 and chaired the 40th OCA General Assembly.

There is also a report from the ANOC General Assembly and Awards held in Crete, Greece, on October 24-25. Indonesia and Korea will play a key role for ANOC in the next two years, while four Asian NOCs were honoured at the Awards Gala.

With the support of the 10 Prestige Partners for the 19th Asian Games, there are six pages of Hangzhou 2022 news and developments, plus updates on other OCA Games.

The “Inside the OCA” section includes news on the Asian Olympic Academy in Korea, the joint OCA/IOC webinar on the prevention of competition manipulation and reports from the OCA Culture Committee and Entourage Committee.

The OCA launched Sporting Asia in 2009 and this 55th edition marks 13 years of the publication highlighting the work and activities of the OCA, its 45 National Olympic Committees, Games Organising Committees and other stakeholders.
