Sri Lanka NOC to run its 3rd Virtual OS Sports Administrators Course

Colombo, Sri Lanka, November 15, 2021: The National Olympic Committee of Sri Lanka will conduct its 3rd Virtual Olympic Solidarity Sports Administrators Course next month.

The Sri Lanka NOC has called for applications for the course which will be held online on four days in December – 4, 5, 11 and 12.

The course is open to sports administrators from National Sports Associations and Federations, lecturers and teachers in sports sciences and management and physical education, sports administrators in the Sri Lanka Armed Forces and Police, and sports administrators from government organisations, and lastly individuals who are involved in sports.

Officials who represent National Sports Associations and Federations are especially encouraged to join the course as the Sri Lanka NOC considers the completion of this course as a mandatory requirement when selecting managers and coaches for international Games like the Asian Games, Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games, Asian Beach Games and Asian Youth Games.

A course fee of Rs. 20,000 (USD100) will be charged from each applicant.

Applications should reach the Secretary General of the Sri Lanka NOC before the deadline which is November 20.
