Asian NOCs attend CDM Seminar for Children of Asia Games Vladivostok 2022

Vladivostok, Russia, November 15, 2021: The organising committee of the 7th Children of Asia International Sports Games in Vladivostok, Russia in 2022 conducted the Chefs de Mission Seminar on November 11-12. 

The Seminar was attended by representatives from 19 countries and regions participating in the 7th Children of Asia Games.  

The delegates represented National Olympic Committees and Ministries of Sport of Azerbaijan, Armenia, Bangladesh, Cambodia, Indonesia, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Nepal, Korea, Syria, Uzbekistan, Sri Lanka, Far Eastern and Siberian Federal districts, Republics of Tatarstan, Bashkortostan and Sakha Republic (Yakutia).  

A number of delegates attended the Seminar online: Afghanistan, Myanmar, Thailand, Ural Federal District, China, Vietnam and UAE. 

On the first day, the delegates visited the Ocean All-Russian Children’s Center located on the picturesque coast of the Emar Bay of the East Sea. The Ocean Center will be the Athletes Village with accommodation for 1,650 people. The venue will also offer well-equipped training sites, venues for cultural and educational activities and for medal ceremonies.  

On the second day, delegates visited the hotel complex of Far Eastern Federal University Campus, which is considered one of the best not only in Russia but among new campuses around the world and has hosted heads of state. 

The FEFU Campus will host boxing, rhythmic gymnastics, archery, shooting and beach volleyball. 

The Chefs de Mission Seminar included a countdown launch ceremony with mascots - the Far Eastern Leopard and Amur Tiger. The Games will run from July 27 to August 8, 2022 with 19 sports.
