Jordan NOC congratulates Sari Hamdan on Asian Handball Federation VP post

Amman, Jordan, November 8, 2021: The Jordan Olympic Committee has congratulated Vice President Dr. Sari Hamdan on being elected Vice President of the Asian Handball Federation at its online General Assembly held last Friday, November 5.

Dr. Hamdan was nominated for the position by the Jordanian Handball Federation and was duly elected by the Asian governing body.

“Dr. Sari Hamdan has done great service not only for handball, but also for Jordanian sports in general, and we congratulate him on being elected as Vice President of the Asian Handball Federation,” the Jordan Olympic Committee posted on its Facebook page.

At the General Assembly, the Asian Handball Federation also voted Jordan as one of the top three handball federations in Asia, along with Bahrain and Kazakhstan.

The President of the International Handball Federation, Dr. Hassan Moustafa, shared his appreciation of the Jordanian Handball Federation.

Egyptian Moustafa highlighted the active role the Jordanian Federation plays in the international arena, particularly in the training courses it offers, especially for referees and coaches.
