Tokyo, Japan, October 28, 2021: Team Japan and the Japanese Paralympic Committee announced the official team uniform for Beijing 2022 on Wednesday, October 27.
A ceremony was held in a hybrid format, with athletes appearing in person and on line to model the uniforms and to talk about the Winter Olympics next February and Winter Paralympics the following month.
The uniforms include the formal wear in blue with red and white accessories and the more casual sports wear in red tops and white trousers. The athletes highlighted the comfort of the uniforms and their enthusiasm for competing in Beijing.
The event was streamed on Line Live and attracted over 98,000 viewers.
