Baghdad, Iraq, September 30, 2021: The First Vice President of the National Olympic Committee of Iraq, Mr. Eyad Najaf, toured the NOC HQ on Wednesday to observe the daily workings of the NOC.
The media department of the NOC reports that the first vice president visited the various departments of HQ and viewed the administrative procedures and labour affairs.
Najaf was informed of the daily operations of the NOC, the cohesion of the inter-departmental coordination and the business flow.
The high-ranking NOC official praised the work of the staff and the direction, leadership and management of the heads of departments in accomplishing all their mandated duties. He said it was very important to have such a sound administrative structure in order to develop the Olympic movement in Iraq and the athletes.
Najaf was accompanied on his tour of NOC HQ by Mr. Bassem Mohamed, a member of the Executive Office, and by the Secretary General of the NOC, Mr. Haitham Abdulhameed.
