Bangkok, Thailand, September 28, 2021: The Sports Authority of Thailand (SAT) organised a training course on the benefits of online training for staff in sports administration and management on Monday, September 27.
The participants of the virtual training course came from National Federations, Provincial Sports Associations and other sports organisations in Thailand.
The course focused on the work of the World Academy of Sport – an organisation based in Manchester, England which delivers learning programmes for sports and event participants including athletes, managers, administrators, officials and coaches through a series of education programmes.
The President of the Flying Disc Association of Thailand, Asst. Prof. Dr. Issadee Kutintara, served as interpreter for the World Academy of Sport presentation.
Khun Santi Lohthong, Thailand Esports President, also delivered a keynote address on “Virtual Online Training: Case Study of the Esports Association of Thailand”.
The content of the course covered how the World Academy of Sport and SAT could assist National Federations in the establishment of an academy, digital learning, training workshops and in the development of a learning strategy.
