Hangzhou, China, September 5, 2021: As the one-year countdown to the 19th Asian Games draws closer, organising committee HAGOC has announced that Hangzhou Municipal Postal Administration will publish selected stamps and postcards on September 10, 2021.
The postcards and stamps feature the three mascots for the 19th Asian Games as well as celebrating the previous two Asian Games held in China – Beijing in 1990 and Guangzhou in 2010.
These colourful and attractive souvenirs can be ordered through the official account of Hangzhou Postal on WeChat.
HAGOC is planning a series of events to mark the one-year countdown on and around September 10.
These include the Chefs de Mission Seminar for National Olympic Committees to be held online on September 8 and September 9 as well as a social media campaign for NOCs to acknowledge receipt of the official invitation and gift package from HAGOC to compete at the 19th Asian Games.
The CDM Seminar will be attended by leaders of the General Administration of Sport in China and the Chinese Olympic Committee in Beijing as well as HAGOC, OCA, NOCs and other stakeholders.
The seminar will update participants on all aspects of the plans and preparations for the 19th Asian Games, which will be held from September 10-25, 2022 in Hangzhou – capital city of Zhejiang province in eastern China.
