Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, September 4, 2021: The Olympic Council of Malaysia held its 40th Annual General Assembly virtually on Saturday, September 4, 2021. The meeting was chaired by Tan Sri Dato' Sri Mohamad Norza Zakaria, President of OCM.
Thirty-four Ordinary Members, 21 Associate Members, representatives from the Ministry of Youth & Sport, National Sports Council, National Sports Institute, Ministry of Education, Athletes' Commission and National Olympic Academy were present at the meeting.
Members approved the Annual Report of the OCM for the year 2020 and the audited accounts for the year ending December 31, 2020.
The election of office bearers of OCM for the term 2021/2025 was conducted by Dato' Sri Dr. Jahaberdeen Mohamed Yunoos, Returning Officer of the Independent Panel for OCM Elections, and two members of the Independent Panel for OCM Elections, Datuk Michael Tang Vee Mun and Mr. Jadadish Chandra.
