UAE NOC shares Asian Games excitement

Dubai, United Arab Emirates, September 1, 2021: The United Arab Emirates is the latest National Olympic Committee in Asia to take to social media to post the official receipt of the invitation letter to attend the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou, China in September 2022.

In a Facebook post, the UAE Olympic Committee featured Engineer Azza Bint Suleiman, Assistant Secretary-General for Administrative and Financial Affairs of the National Olympic Committee, receiving the official invitation from the Hangzhou Asian Games Organising Committee HAGOC.

The organising committee has sent an official invitation letter to all 45 Asian National Olympic Committees along with a package of gifts such as the three mascots, pens, pin badges and other merchandise.

In order to promote the 19th Asian Games in their own region and globally, HAGOC asked the NOCs to post photos and videos on their social media platforms to highlight the event and the fact that it is approaching the one-year countdown ceremony.

The 19th Asian Games will be held in Hangzhou, capital city of Zhejiang province in eastern China, from September 10-25, 2022, with 40 sports, 61 disciplines and over 480 events.

The Chefs de Mission Seminar for the 19th Asian Games will be held via video conference on September 8-9.
