Colombo, Sri Lanka, September 1, 2021: The National Olympic Committee of Sri Lanka has devoted its latest Olympic news bulletin to the passing of former IOC President Jacques Rogge.
The news item covers the front page and also Page 2 to record the achievements and developments of the Olympic Movement under President Rogge, who was the eighth President of the IOC from 2001 to 2013, after which he became Honorary President.
The six-page news e-bulletin “Good Sport” is issued weekly by Sri Lanka NOC media department. The 81st edition, dated Monday, August 30, 2021, also reports on the Tokyo 2020 Paralympics gold medal for Dinesh Priyantha Herath in the men’s javelin F46 category with a world record throw of 67.79 metres.
