Tokyo, Japan, July 28, 2021: His Highness Sheikh Isa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Vice President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee and head of the delegation at the Tokyo Olympic Games, visited the Olympic Museum in Tokyo on Wednesday, July 28.
HH Sheikh Isa was accompanied by His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Hasan Ali Al Nusuf, Secretary General of the Bahrain Olympic Committee and deputy head of the Bahrain delegation, and several members of the administrative mission.
His Highness visited all parts of the Olympic Museum, which documents the growth of the modern Olympic Games since Athens 1896 through to Tokyo 2020 and includes masses of memorabilia and collectibles.
The museum also displays rare historical photographs and videos as well as holograms of Olympic flames used over the last 31 editions, slogans, medals and brochures.
His Highness Sheikh Isa showed his admiration for the Olympic Museum and stressed its importance in preserving and promoting the Olympic Games and Olympic spirit and values for generations to come and for motivating athletes of the future to achieve similar success.
