Bahrain Olympic Committee welcomes Kuwait Olympic Committee President to Tokyo mission HQ

Tokyo, Japan, July 25, 2021: His Highness Sheikh Isa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Vice President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee and head of the delegation at Tokyo 2020, met with the President of the Kuwait Olympic Committee, HE Sheikh Fahad Nasser Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, on the sidelines of the Olympic Games.

The meeting took place at the Bahrain Olympic Committee HQ at the Grand Hyatt Hotel and was attended by officials and members of the Bahraini and Kuwaiti missions.

HH Sheikh Isa welcomed the President of the Kuwaiti Olympic Committee and praised the deep and historical relations between the two countries.

HH Sheikh Isa passed on the greetings of HH Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Works and Youth Affairs and President of the Supreme Council of Youth and Sports, and HH Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Vice President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, Chairman of the General Authority for Sports and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, to the KOC President.

The two parties reviewed the participation of both countries in the Tokyo Olympic Games and wished each other all success in the coming days.

In turn, Sheikh Fahad Nasser Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah expressed his sincere thanks and pride for the hospitality and warmth of the reception, affirming the depth of the fraternal relations linking the Kingdom of Bahrain and the state of Kuwait.

At the end of the meeting, HH Sheikh Isa and HE Sheikh Fahad exchanged souvenirs.
