Taipei, July 23, 2021: Chinese Taipei Olympic Committee launched the 11th edition of the International Sports Affairs Training Course for 2021 on July 1. The course will run until July 30 on a designated online education platform.
Due to the impact of COVID-19, CTOC has altered the hybrid training courses into an all-online format, including conducting small group discussions on Olympic Agenda 2020+5 via an online meeting room. This will enable the participants to understand the IOC values and join the courses without the restriction of time and space.
With support from Sports Administration, Ministry of Education, the ISATC programme has successfully cultivated more than 1,400 alumni throughout the years. The participants have come from a variety of backgrounds, including officials from government authorities, sports administrators from National Federations and students who are studying sports management.
Moreover, many more individuals who are passionate about being involved in international sporting affairs from all age groups have joined this year’s edition.
With the purpose of enhancing relationships with international sports organisations, CTOC has invited a series of experienced speakers to deliver topics on the trends in international sports affairs. These include ANOC Secretary General Gunilla Lindberg.
CTOC is delighted to have more than 40 counterparts from National Olympic Committees to join the domestic participants online with an aim to strengthen our relationship with the Olympic Family amidst the challenging times.
