Vientiane, Laos, July 1, 2021: The Lao National Anti-Doping Organisation (Lao NADO) is hosting an education workshop ahead of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.
The workshop is for coaches and athletes on anti-doping before the Olympic Games and other international events and is being conducted at the Lao National Olympic Committee meeting room from June 28 to July 2.
Several national sports associations are attending the workshop including athletics, cycling, rugby, judo, boxing, kickboxing and para athletics.
The Southeast Asia Regional Anti-Doping Organisation (SEARADO) congratulated Lao NADO for the initiative.
In other news, SEARADO convened an Extraordinary General Meeting on June 29. Member Country Representatives (MCR) unanimously voted on the revised Constitution, as well as for SEARADO to continue its operations in Singapore.
WADA and SEARADO provided further updates on Dried Blood Spot (DBS) Testing and Results Management matters among other topics.
SEARADO thanked all MCRs and supporting staff of member country National Anti-Doping Organisations for their cooperation and commitment.
