Lahore, Pakistan, June 22, 2021: The President of the Pakistan Olympic Association, Lt. Gen. (retd.) Syed Arif Hasan, took part in an interactive session on Monday, June 21 with the winners of a children’s painting competition to mark Olympic Day.
The POA President thanked all the participants and congratulated the winners and their parents for the exceptional displays they had sent to the POA.
Lt. Gen. Syed Hasan also revealed that selected artworks would be preserved and displayed with the name of the artists. He encouraged youngsters to be part of POA programmes, in particular to become volunteers at the 14th South Asian Games which will be hosted by Pakistan in 2023.
The POA chief also applauded the work of the POA Culture Commission headed by Kamran Lashari.
The interactive session was held at Pakistan Olympic House in Lahore.
