Colombo, Sri Lanka, June 8, 2021: The National Olympic Committee of Sri Lanka will hold an online quiz competition as part of its Olympic Day 2021 celebrations.
The theme of the quiz to be held on June 18 will be Olympism and the Olympic Movement. It will be open to three age categories: Under 18, 18-35 years and over 35 years.
The online quiz will contain 40 questions with participants being given 30 minutes to complete it. Questions will revolve around four main themes – philosophy and history, the modern Olympic Movement, issues and challenges and statistics.
Every participant who answers more than 50 percent of the questions correctly will receive an e-certificate from Sri Lanka NOC. If there is a tiebreak situation for the first three places, the top three will be decided by another round of competition.
Entry deadline for the quiz will be June 15. The final results of the competition will be announced during the Olympic Day celebrations on June 23.
