Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, May 4, 2021: The newly elected office bearers of the Malaysian Gymnastics Federation for the term 2021-2023 made a courtesy visit to the Olympic Council of Malaysia HQ in Kuala Lumpur on Monday, May 3.
The delegation was led by the new President, Dato’ Tan Gin Soon, accompanied by Mr. Kau Git Kaur (Deputy President), Mr. Francis Loh Soong Park (Vice President), Dato’ Azmi Abas (Vice President), Ms. Lee Wan Nin (Vice President), Mdm. Afrita Ariany Nasril (Honorary Secretary) and Mdm. Petrina Low (Member).
The visiting delegation was welcomed by the President of the Olympic Council of Malaysia, Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Mohamad Norza Zakaria, accompanied by Dato’ Seri Azim Zabidi (Deputy President), Dato’ Mohd Nazifuddin (Secretary General), Dato’ Amarjit Singh Gill (Assistant Treasurer), Ms. Michelle Chai (Chief Operating Officer), Mr. Fong Wan Hor (General Manager) and Mr. Norhashimi Hussain (General Manager).
OCM President Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Mohamad Norza Zakaria congratulated Dato’ Tan Gin Soon for being elected as the new President at the 26th Annual General Meeting of the MGF on Saturday, April 24, 2021.
“We have full confidence with the new line-up under the leadership of Dato’ Tan Gin Soon who would be able to rejuvenate the MGF,” said Tan Sri Mohamad Norza Zakaria.
The main assignments of the MGF this year will be to prepare their athletes for participation in two multi-sport games under the jurisdiction of OCM – namely, the XXXII Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 and the 31st SEA Games Vietnam 2021.
