Male, Maldives, May 3, 2021: The Maldives Olympic Committee held its Annual General Assembly last Saturday, May 1 with all of its member associations and athletes’ representatives joining in virtually.
The General Assembly was chaired by the President of Maldives Olympic Committee, Mohamed Shaweed, with Secretary General Ahmed Marzooq also being present.
The executive committee of the Maldives Olympic Committee attended the General Assembly in person while all the other 19 members of the MOC joined online.
During the General Assembly, the MOC’s 2020 annual report and the audited expenditure report were presented along with the estimated budget for 2021.
The Swimming Association of Maldives also put forward an amendment to MOC statutes which was passed by the General Assembly.
