Kabul, Afghanistan, April 20, 2021: Afghanistan National Olympic Committee reports that the first equestrian workshop was held on April 18-19 in Kabul.
The two-day workshop included theory and practical sessions to familiarise the participants with the basic skills needed to master horse riding. The sessions also included the rules of competition, the equipment required and training methods.
A total of 46 coaches attended the course and under the instruction of trainers Morteza Hashemi and Atiqullah Ahmadzai.
The lessons learned will be put to good use next month when officials organise a national equestrian competition.
The participants received a certificate on the successful completion of the course in a ceremony attended by representatives of the NOC.
