Kabul, Afghanistan, March 5, 2021: The Afghanistan National Olympic Committee conducted a two-day seminar and workshop to strengthen media activities of sports federations.
The workshop covered various aspects of media operations and services including publications, access to information and photography and was attended by media officers from national sports federations under the NOC.
The VIP guests included the President of the NOC, Dr Hafizullah Wali Rahimi, and Member of Parliament Robina Jalali, who is Vice President, Women Division, of Afghanistan NOC.
“I hope that strengthening media activities will have a positive impact on the growth and development of the country's sport,” said the MP, who is also President of the Afghanistan Athletics Federation.
The NOC President added that this was the first step in the development of national sports federation publications and other media activities and that this kind of programme would continue.
