Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, March 15, 2021: The Olympic Council of Malaysia has announced that Datuk Haji Hamidin Haji Mohd Amin, President of the Football Association of Malaysia, will be Chef de Mission of the Malaysian contingent to the 31st Southeast Asian (SEA) Games Vietnam 2021.
The OCM announcement followed approval at a meeting of the OCM Executive Board on Tuesday, March 9.
The day after his appointment, Datuk Haji Hamidin Haji Mohd Amin started his official duties as Chef de Mission by attending a briefing and discussion with senior officers of the OCM on the preparation of the Malaysian contingent to the SEA Games.
The 31st SEA Games will be held in Hanoi and neighbouring cities and provinces from November 21 to December 2, 2021.
Ms. Michelle Chai, Chief Operating Officer of OCM, presented a tiger-stripe jacket to Datuk Haji Hamidin Haji Mohd Amin to mark the occasion.
