Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, March 12, 2021: Mongolian National Olympic Committee President Naidan Tuvshinbayar and Ts. Sharavjamts, Chairman of the State Committee for Physical Education and Sport, signed a Memorandum of Understanding at the Central Sports Gymnasium.
The two supreme organisations of Mongolian sport and Olympism will make more fruitful cooperation and close collaboration for further sports development and successful participation in the upcoming Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.
Tokyo 2020 will be the 14th Olympic Games for Team Mongolia since its debut in the summer games at Tokyo 1964.
The NOC President is Mongolia’s first ever Olympic champion, in judo at Beijing 2008, while Ts. Sharavjamts is a former top - and the tallest - basketball player in Mongolia who also played with the legendary Harlem Globetrotters.
