Beijing, China, June 24, 2018: The World Anti-Doping Agency will hold the second WADA Global Education Conference in Beijing, China, on October 24-25, 2018. It will be hosted by the China Anti-Doping Agency in partnership with the United States Anti-Doping Agency.

Under the theme Innovation, Harmonisation and Cooperation, the conference will convene anti-doping researchers and practitioners to examine emerging trends; to contribute to the development of the new International Standard for Education; and to examine how anti-doping organisations (ADOs) can enhance their education programmes, while keeping the athlete at the center of their strategies.

As outlined in the Agenda, day one will address the athlete’s perspective and the Anti-Doping Charter of Athlete Rights, the role of education in anti-doping programmes and a roundtable analysis of the International Standard for Education.

Day two will consist of presentations and workshops regarding existing and emerging education materials and programmes and provide sessions tailored to specific stakeholders.

Two delegates per country/organisation from a selection of National Anti-Doping Organisations, International Federations, Regional Anti-Doping Organisations, National Olympic Committees and Research Institutions are invited to attend.
