Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei Darussalam, September 3, 2019: Four national golfers from Brunei who will be competing in the 30th Southeast Asian Games 2019 in the Philippines got a boost after receiving sponsorship in the form of golf bags from Lexus Brunei in a ceremony at The Empire Hotel and Country Club.
The recipients of the golf bag were Awangku Muhd Syakir bin Pengiran Haji Ali, Aritz Maldini bin Haji Abdul Majid, Zulhilmi bin Rosli and Mohd Qawi Fakhri bin Haji Aslimon, reports the Borneo Bulletin.
The Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, Major General (Rtd) Dato Paduka Seri Awang Haji Aminuddin Ihsan bin Pehin Orang Kaya Saiful Mulok Dato Seri Paduka Haji Abidin, presented the sponsored items.
Golf will be one of 56 sports at the SEA Games to be held from November 30 to December 11 at New Clark City and other locations in the Philippines.
