Amman, Jordan, October 21, 2019: HRH Prince Feisal Al Hussein, President of the Jordan Olympic Committee, has praised the level of Jordan’s 3x3 basketball teams during their participation at the first ANOC World Beach Games held in Doha, Qatar.
Both men’s and women’s teams won their last group games, watched by HRH Prince Feisal, to finish the tournaments on a high following two early defeats each. It meant both teams finished third in their groups.
Prince Feisal also praised Qatar for the high level of organisation achieved for the ANOC World Beach Games which involved 13 sports, 14 disciplines and 350 medals.
The ANOC WBG opened officially on October 12 and closed on October 16, with 1,270 athletes from 97 National Olympic Committees, including 21 from Asia.
