Hangzhou, China, November 23, 2020: DAS-Security became the official cyber security partner of the 19th Asian Games Hangzhou 2022 after signing an agreement with the organisers HAGOC on Monday, November 23 in Wuzhen, Zhejiang province, reports Xinhua News.
The enterprise joined as the 10th official partner of the 19th Asian Games, alongside Geely Auto, Alibaba, Alipay, China Telecom, China Mobile, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC), 361sport, Zhejiang Loong Airlines and China Pacific Insurance.
“DAS-Security is a cyber security enterprise that has developed against the backdrop of the endeavours of Zhejiang and Hangzhou to play a leading role in the digital economy,” said Chen Weiqiang, Deputy Secretary-General of HAGOC and Vice Mayor of Hangzhou.
“We hope DAS-Security can take advantage of its expertise and innovative technologies to build a solid security network for a smart Hangzhou 2022."
DAS-Security was part of the cyber security programme for multiple international sports events including the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games, Guangzhou 2010 Asian Games, Shenzhen 2011 Summer Universiade and Wuhan Military World Games in 2019. It will offer cyber security services for Hangzhou 2022 as a Prestige Partner.
"We will strive to provide an Internet safety net for a smart Hangzhou Asian Games with our system, becoming the shield for Hangzhou's digital economy and development," said Fan Yuan, Chairman of DAS-Security.
Chairman Fan initiated its "Security@Future" strategic plan in accordance with the Games slogan "Heart to Heart, @Future" and "Dream Project" which appeals for Games-time volunteers in cyber security.
The 19th Asian Games will run from September 10-25, 2022 in Hangzhou, capital city of Zhejiang province in eastern China.
