Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, October 21, 2019: The management of the Olympic Council of Malaysia would like to congratulate Mr. Eddy Chew for successfully graduating as a Bachelor of Sports Science (Sports Management) from the University of Malaya.
Prior to his graduation, Eddy had completed a three-month internship programme at the OCM, from February 18 to May 10, 2019, where he was attached to all the departments to learn the processes and procedures of a number of programmes and activities of OCM.
Besides assisting in the organisation of a few programmes he was also given the opportunity to participate in the STEP Southeast Asia Youth Sports Leaders Camp in Singapore from March 8-16 and the IOC Sport Administrators Course in Kuala Lumpur from March 22-24.
Eddy was a national athlete having represented Malaysia in numerous international shooting championships as well as in multi-sports games under the OCM.
One of his most remarkable achievements was contributing four medals for the Malaysian contingent to the 27th SEA Games Myanmar 2013: Gold in men’s 50m free pistol, silver in men’s 10m air pistol, bronze in men’s 50m free pistol team and bronze in men’s 10m air pistol team.
The management of OCM wishes him all the very best for his future undertaking.
