Tashkent, Uzbekistan, November 4, 2020: Uzbekistan will host a joint international training camp on judo with five national teams participating in the November 4-24 event in Tashkent.
Uzbekistan judokas will train alongside national team members from Georgia, France, Kyrgyzstan and Egypt in the camp which has been organised by the Judo Federation of Uzbekistan in cooperation with the National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan.
Georgia and Kyrgyzstan have announced their squads and it is noted that four of the five Georgian athletes who are coming to Tashkent are highly placed in the rankings for the Tokyo Olympics.
The Uzbekistan NOC and the country’s judo federation are expected to hold a press conference with the participation of leading representatives of the national teams.
