Hangzhou Asian Games to join cultural and creative industry expo

Hangzhou, China, October 28, 2020: The promotion of the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou, China in September 2022 will continue at the 14th Hangzhou Cultural and Creative Industry Expo over the next few days.

The expo will be held at the White Horse Lake International Convention and Exhibition Centre in the Binjiang District of Hangzhou from October 29 to November 1.

Asian Games organising committee HAGOC will set up a pavilion to promote the Hangzhou Asian Games for the first time at the expo.

The pavilion will demonstrate the preparation process of the Asian Games 2022, spread the aesthetic culture of the Asian Games and encourage public interaction through media integration, audience immersion and mass participation.

This year's gala, which is one of China's largest events in the cultural and creative industry, will feature six exhibition halls covering an area of about 70,000 square meters.

An online expo will be launched simultaneously for overseas exhibitors who cannot attend due to COVID-19.

To date, around 1,000 overseas enterprises from 40 countries and regions have signed up for live streams. About 300 of them have found Chinese agencies to showcase their brands and products at the main venue.

Delegations from Shanghai, Jiangsu, Chengdu and Chongqing will present their cultural and creative achievements while local exhibitors such as the Liangzhu Museum, Zhejiang University and the China Academy of Art will unveil their latest creations.

The event will be attended by over 2,000 Chinese and foreign institutions and will also feature 14 forums and other activities to foster business connections.
