Malaysia NOC management course attracts 16 participants

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, September 11, 2020: The Olympic Council of Malaysia conducted the third session of the Advanced Sport Management Course (ASMC) from September 7-10.

A total of 16 participants from various National Sports Associations (NSAs), State Sports Council, Armed Forces Sports Council and Sports Clubs enrolled into the third session of the course.

The ASMC, which was hosted by two Programme Directors Mr. Wan Yew Leong and Ms. Moira Tan Siew See, focused on Managing Human Resources, Managing Finance, Managing Marketing and Organising a Major Sport Event.

The last session of the ASMC 2020 is scheduled for November 2-5.

In other news from Malaysia, the consultation sessions between OCM and 29 National Sports Associations on the SEA Games Selection Process and the Malaysian Games (SUKMA) were completed over three days.

The sessions began on September 1 with six sports providing input to a panel headed by OCM Secretary General Dato Nazifuddin assisted by Ms. Michelle Chai (Chief Operating Officer of OCM) and Mr. Norhashimi, Multi Sports General Manager. 

The other 23 NSAs had their meetings on September 3-4.
