Palestine coaches get World Taekwondo certification

Ramallah, Palestine, October 10, 2019: Nine Palestine taekwondo coaches received their Level One international training certificates after taking part in a World Taekwondo Coach Certification Course in Cairo, Egypt last week.

The certification course held on October 3-4 was organised by World Taekwondo in collaboration with Egyptian Taekwondo Federation.

There were more than 200 coaches from 12 Arab countries, including Palestine, who took part in the two-day training course.

The nine Palestine coaches who took part are Tahseen Abu Zaydah, Nabil Naji, Fadel Abdel Halim, Samah Faraj, all from the Northern Governorates, and from the Southern sector, Ehab Isleem, Mohammed Isleem, Mahmoud Al Karnaz, Abdel Karim Tabaza and Mahmoud Abdo.

Bashar Abdul Jawad, President of the Palestine Taekwondo Federation, stressed the importance of having qualified coaches with the aim of increasing the technical standards of athletes.
