Philippines to brush up on anti-doping developments

Manila, Philippines, August 27, 2020: With the World Anti-Doping Agency’s new WADA Code coming into effect in 2021 and the Tokyo Olympics rescheduled for July 2021, Asia’s anti-doping bodies are on the move.

The latest organisation to lay the groundwork for next year’s developments is the PSC-PHINADO – the Philippines’ anti-doping authority comprised of the government’s Philippine Sports Commission and Philippine National Anti-Doping Organisation.

The head of PSC-PHINADO, Dr. Alejandro Pineda Jr., is set to conduct a webinar on anti-doping with members of the NCPEP (National Council for Physical Educators of the Philippines, Inc.) on Saturday, September 5, 2020.

The webinar will run for two hours and Dr. Pineda will tackle updates about anti-doping. Participants will be able to register soon through the NCPEP Facebook page.
