Thimphu, Bhutan, August 27, 2020: The Bhutan Olympic Committee has thanked His Majesty the King of Bhutan and all the frontline medical workers for keeping the country safe in the battle against the COVID-19 pandemic.
In a post on its Facebook page, the Bhutan Olympic Committee said: “The BOC family would like to offer our sincere gratitude to His Majesty King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuk Prime Minister’s Office – and all the frontline workers for leading the nation to fight against COVID-19.
"We are deeply humbled by His Majesty’s love and care for the people of Bhutan.”
Bhutan has recorded a total of 173 COVID-19 cases with zero deaths.
