Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, August 18, 2020: The Executive Board of the Olympic Council of Malaysia held its 21st meeting for the term 2018-2021 on Tuesday, August 18 at the Training Hall, Level 2C, OCM Indoor Sports Complex. It was chaired by the OCM President, Tan Sri Mohamad Norza Zakaria.
The meeting was attended by members of the OCM Executive Board as well as representatives from the Ministry of Youth and Sports, National Sports Council, National Sports Institute and Ministry of Education as well as the Athletes’ Commission.
The OCM expressed a warm welcome to Mr. Mohd Azhari Mohammad, Deputy Director General, Sports Development Division, National Youth and Sports Department, Ministry of Youth and Sports, who attended the OCM Executive Board meeting for the first time.
Immediately after the meeting, the management of OCM coordinated a simple celebration for Tan Sri Mohamad Norza Zakaria, who had been bestowed the Darjah Kebasaran Panglima Setia Mahkota (PSM) by the Yang di-Pertuan Agong the previous day.
After the press conference of the meeting, members of the OCM Executive Board were given a tour of the refurbished Hotel Olympic Malaysia which was opened on Saturday, August 1, followed by lunch hosted by the hotel.
