Taipei, October 7, 2019: The Chinese Taipei Olympic Committee staged a flag presentation ceremony on October 7 for the Chinese Taipei delegation to the ANOC World Beach Games.
Mr. Teng-Chiao Lin, Deputy Minister from the Ministry of Education, presented the Chinese Taipei NOC flag to Mr. Hong-Dow Lin, President of the Chinese Taipei Olympic Committee and head of the delegation.
In addition, a 60-minute orientation, including doping control guidelines, was given to the attendees after the ceremony.
The ANOC World Beach Games will be held in Doha, Qatar from October 12-16. Chinese Taipei NOC is sending five athletes in three sports: aquathlon, sport climbing (bouldering) and karate.
At the ceremony, the CTOC President encouraged the athletes to make the best of the Games and pursue excellence relentlessly with determination and resolve. The Games will also serve as the best opportunity for Chinese Taipei athletes to gain international experience to strive towards future success, he added.
