Muscat, Oman, August 10, 2020: The Omani Karate Committee participated in a referee webinar held by the Asian Karate Federation on Saturday, August 8.
Five top Omani referees took part: Ahmed bin Said Al Zakwani, Salim bin Darwish Al Qutaiti, Sulaiman bin Khalifa Al Hinai, Yousuf bin Muslim Al Siyabi and Hilal bin Mohammed Al Abdali.
The Chairman of the Asian Referees Committee and a member of the International Referees Committee, Mansour Al Sultan, conducted the webinar and talked about kata and kumite rules and recent amendments.
The webinar for coaches organised by the Asian Karate Federation will be held on Saturday, August 15, followed by kata and kumite training webinars for athletes on August 22 and 29 respectively.
