National Anti-Doping Agency established in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, Kyrgyz Republic, August 5, 2020: The Central Asia Regional Anti-Doping Organisation (Radoca) has congratulated Kyrgyz Republic on forming a National Anti-Doping Organisation.

“The Central Asia Regional Anti-Doping Organisation is glad to announce about the establishment of the National Anti-Doping Agency in Kyrgyz Republic,” Radoca said in a Facebook post. 

“This is a great step forward in the fight against doping in sport not only for Kyrgyz Republic but for all Central Asia region.  Congratulations to all the sport community of Kyrgyz Republic.”

The State Agency for Youth, Physical Culture and Sports has created the National Anti-Doping Centre Directorate.

The Directorate is an institution that operates in the field of countering and combating doping in sports with a view to eliminating it.

The Directorate has the following tasks:

• implementation of anti-doping policy on the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic;

• Proposals for the development of anti-doping policy;

• Enforcement of the World Anti-Doping Code and Anti-Doping Rules of the Kyrgyz Republic;

• promotion of clean sports among athletes of the Kyrgyz Republic.
