Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, August 3, 2020: The draw ceremony for the TOTAL BWF Thomas and Uber Cup Finals 2020 was staged at the Badminton World Federation Headquarters in Kuala Lumpur on Monday, August 3.
Indonesia (men) and Japan (women) were the top seeds for the Thomas Cup and Uber Cup respectively.

Group A: Indonesia, Malaysia, England, Netherlands
Group B: China, Chinese Taipei, France, Australia
Group C: Denmark, India, Germany, Algeria
Group D: Japan, Korea, Thailand, Canada
Uber Cup
Group A: Japan, Chinese Taipei, Spain, Egypt
Group B: Korea, Indonesia, Malaysia, Australia
Group C: Thailand, Denmark, Canada, Scotland
Group D: China, India, France, Germany
This year’s TOTAL BWF Thomas and Uber Cup Finals will make history as the first co-hosted finals in Europe, in the modern and dynamic Danish city of Aarhus.
With the ongoing support of title sponsor TOTAL, this edition of the most prestigious men’s and women’s team competitions in badminton promises to be spectacular.
BWF Chief Operating Officer Stuart Borrie said: “We acknowledge the many disruptions this year to our calendar but we would like to assure you that the BWF continues to monitor the ongoing developments surrounding COVID-19 and to plan for a safe return to international badminton.

The TOTAL BWF Thomas and Uber Cup Finals 2020 are due to be held from October 3-11, 2020 in Aarhus, Denmark.
