Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, July 30, 2020: The National Olympic Committee of the Kyrgyz Republic has marked the national day of mourning for people who have died from COVID-19.
In a Facebook post on Thursday, the NOC said: “Today, July 30, in Kyrgyzstan is the Day of National Mourning for those who died from Covid-19.
“The virus has taken the lives of many of our compatriots. To date, the death toll is more than 1,300 people and the fight against coronavirus is not over, but we believe that we will definitely defeat this disease.
“The National Olympic Committee of the Kyrgyz Republic brings deep condolences to the families, relatives and friends of each of the victims.”
