International Relations Committee

International Relations Committee consist of One Chairman and Five Members. The Chairman and Members of the Committee will be nominated by the President OCA.

The Chairman and Members will hold office for a term of four years. The Chairman will be a Member of the EB.


This Committee will be responsible for:

a.
to facilitate and promote the relationship between the Olympic Movement, particularly the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA), National Olympic Committees (NOCs), International Olympic Committee (IOC), International and Asian Sports Federations (IFs and AFs) and governments and public authorities;

b. to use the network of relations and expertise of its members, to strengthen existing dialogue and cooperation, and to contribute to resolving conflicts when possible;

c. to supports the communications efforts made by the OCA in providing information on its policies, actions and mandate with respect to governments, as well as international, regional and national governmental organizations;

d. to prepare position papers on specific political issues related to sport and advice the OCA President and the Executive Board accordingly;

e. to work in close cooperation with the OCA Department of International and NOC Relations.
